We are a young European-based organization serving the international humanitarian and development sectors, helping organisations to better respond to crises with the right innovation technology. Our clients include several United Nations organizations, Red Cross societies and NGOs such as Save the Children, Oxfam and many others.

We are looking for a motivated back-end developer to bring new ideas and turn them into concrete solutions.

You will have the chance to workin a multinational team and take part in the full software development life cycle.

On a daily basis at Relief Applications we develop several projects simultaneously, which requires the ability to adapt to new skills/tools quickly.

The main responsibilities will be to help develop Relief Applications web platforms and apps as a back-end developer (Python and PHP) as well as ensuring tools are deployed.

We run several projects using IoT and AI(virtual assistants), looking at developing its machine learning capabilities.


  • Good English, written and spoken
  • Symfony and/or Django
  • REST API design
  • Db MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL
  • Strong knowledge on Linux environment (Debian)

  • Spanish and French speaker desired but not essential
